Our home

I offer an apartment in the centre of Rome. It is a 3 room flat, located at the I floor of an early 20th century building. It is very silent and it has been completely restored 6 years ago. The apartment is well organized, consisting of a dining room/kitchen, a bed room (queen size bed) and a living room with a divan-bed. You can find also a wash machine, an hair dryer, an iron and a vacuum cleaner. This is my second home, that will be free for 3 months, from July 1th to Sept. 30th: as during this period I actually cannot be free for more than 2 or 3 (separated) weeks, I would prefere a non-simoultaneous exchange.

  1. I am 60 old and I am University professor of Latin Literature; i started exchanging my home 2 years ago. I like art and music; I speak English and French, I used to speak German and I understand Spanish: if we meet in Roma I'll do my best to give you touristic suggestions and to answer your questions, in order to make your stay as confortable and delightful as possible.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

My apartment is in a very central area, at about 8 minutes of walk from S. Giovanni in Laterano (you can see it fronm the roof-terrace of the building)and less than 100 metres far from the Aurelian Walls, Porta Maggiore, the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (see photos) and the Museo degli Strumenti musicali. Santa Maria Maggiore and Stazione Termini too are not so far: it takes about 15 and 20 minutes on foot. Traffic connections are good: buses and trams to and from Stazione Termini, Piazza Venezia, S. Pietro and Trastevere at 2 minutes of walk; the 2 nearest underground stations are S. Giovanni and Manzoni, that you can easily reach on foot (about 8 minutes for both), by tram or by bus.
