Our home

We offer an apartment near the downtown of Prato, a town 7km away from Florence, in a very green area and comfortable position, also close to the highway. It’s well connected to Florence (10 min) and to other historical spots and towns of Tuscany (one hour to get to Siena, Bologna, Lucca, and Pisa). There’s one sunny bedroom, with a double bed, one well equipped bathroom, a living room (with a one person sofa-bed) with a small modern kitchen and a balcony. It's a 60 sq. meters apartment in an new building, close to one of the most important national Museum of Contemporary ART (Pecci Museum). Floor is 50% parquet and furniture are new. Every room opens onto the balcony! There is a pleasant wide garden downstairs, shared with the other apartments, and the flat is well ventilated with big windows and doors off all the rooms.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The home is close to very nice shops and supermarkets, bars and typical restaurants, and Prato is a little historical jewel with a 12th century cathedral boasting frescoes by Filippo Lippi. The home is close to the 30 km long cycle/walking path along the Bisenzio River and you can get to Prato railway station in just 10 minutes. Regular trains leave for Florence each 15 mins, for Bologna, Pisa, Lucca (and of course for Rome, Venice and other main cities). There’s an urban bus stop 100mts from the house, with direct connections to Florence, Prato downtown and railway station.
