Our home

We live in a small village, Oltrecastello, located on Trento’s hill (5 km), with a supermarket, a pub, a hairdresser and a playground for younger and older children (football, basket, volleyball). We live in a flat on the third and last floor of a small house with a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second one has two single beds and the third one has another double bed.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of four: Claudia is a researcher at Trento University and Giuseppe works at the local hospital and our sons are Matteo (born in 2004) and Clara (born in 2007) who are attending the primary school. Giuseppe has also a teenager son, Alessandro, that sometimes travels with us. We love travelling and spending our holidays all around Europe visiting friends and relatives. We also practice a lot of sports: skiing, sailing, hiking, and we love also cycling in bicycle paths.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our area is very beautiful for nature: trekking (you can start directly from our home!), cycling, sailing and windsurfing (Caldonazzo and Garda lakes). We live in the Dolomites region, one of the best area in the world for climbing, hiking and, in winter season, skiing. In a half an hour drive you can reach wonderful places where you can practice all these sports but also visit parks with wild animals (bears, deers, etc.) and eat in a mountain hut. At the same time Trento is a Renaissance town with a very ancient city centre and a beautiful castle. The historical and cultural heritage is very important and we have several museums from Roman time to modern art (MART).
Bus to Trento city (10 min.) and Trento train and bus stations (15 min.)every 20 min.
Train to: Verona, Venezia, Bologna, Milano, Innsbruck, München.
The nearest airport is Verona, but also Bologna and Milan-Bergamo will be ok.
