Our home

Rustic House in Sardinia: This rustic house is newly renovated to reveal its original character. Set opposite a bar and very close to the town's piazza and church, the house is cool and peaceful. As this is our second home, we are able to swap this on a non simultaneous exchange. You would need to hire a car for this property as Sardinia is very sparse. **********************************************

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are a young (well we are over 40) married family with three young boys of 5, 7 years and 9 years of age. My family all live in Cairns Australia and my husband's family all live in La Corte, Sardinia. In fact they seem to comprise most of the population of La Corte (which is a very small village and very Sardinian). I am a lawyer and my husband is a restaurant manager/property developer. We have travelled most of the world but now with three young boys, we tend to visit family type destinations. Our boys are very well behaved and love to see different things and if possible swim for as long as possible.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Rustic Sardinian House: The house is situated in a very small village called La Corte about 10 minutes from the airport and approximately 15 minutes drive to Alghero and other beautiful beaches such as Stintino. Sardinia is known for its beautiful beaches and holiday atmosphere for Italians. The Emerald Coast is about an hours drive away as are many other famous tourist destinations. Alghero personally is our favourite due to its cobblestone streets and quaint atmosphere.
