Who we are

  1. DUE TO OUR RENTALS BUSINESS WE CANNOT DO EXCHANGES FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER INCLUSIVE (RARE EXCEPTIONS POSSIBLE). I am Adela born in London and living in Italy for the last 30 years, married to Mauro an Italian born retired hotel manager who has lived in various parts of the world due to his job. Our son Marzio lives and works in the hotel business in Milan. I run the rental side of our house which is a large complex divided into three cottages and it is one of these that we offer for exchange. We are both very interested in the art cities and enjoy visiting galleries and museums, we are used to living in a very quiet and rural area and appreciate an exchange in a quiet area of a city and not right in the heart of the hustle and bustle. My husband would like to visit St.Petersburg and also Granada,Seviglia and Malaga. I am also interested in a ski destination in Europe this winter either France Italy or Switzerland, mostly for a week but not at Christmas or New Year. There will usually be only one or two people travelling together and we would appreciate a reciprocal number. We have a very exclusive home and although we rent it is only at a very high standard and our guests appreciate this, we would look after your home as well as we would expect you to look after ours. More often than not one of us will be present during your exchange to be able to help you with itineraries and sight seeing information. WE DO NOT WANT TO GO TO HOLLAND, BELGIUM, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, FLORIDA.PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR JUNE,JULY,AUGUST,SEPTEMBER, OR FOR EXCHANGES WITH CHILDREN.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Geographically speaking Cellole is situated halfway between Florence and Siena, about a half hour’s drive from each, Pisa Lucca and Arezzo are about an hour away. This is an ideal location for art and history lovers who appreciate the peace and quiet of the countryside yet want more interest than a holiday just lazing around the pool. Food and wine connoisseurs will not be disappointed as even the most refined palate will be satisfied in this country of good food and excellent wine. To further our guests tranquillity Cellole accepts only an adult clientele. The nearest town Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa is about 6 kms away and has all the shops, restaurants and banks necessary. You will need a car to get there and also to arrive here from whichever airport you fly into. The only really accessible place to go to by bus is Florence for everything else you will need a car.
