Our home

Our home is a comfortable, clean, and spacious 3-floor town house with olive-wood flooring and antique furniture. It has a large kitchen with adjoining dining room and a relaxing living room. There is a big terrace (covered by a huge sun shade) with table/chairs, barbecue and private garden with a view of the mountains. In summer we love having our meals outside and having friends over for a barbecue. There are 3 big bedrooms (each one with air conditioning) a study (with computer, fax, scanner and photocopier), double garage and a family room in the basement with another kitchen and a fireplace. I have an old but well running van that sits 7, perfect for a family.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of 4 my three children 23,15, 11 and myself. We have a Westie called Rory and two cats, Lady and Sasha. We enjoy travelling when able to get away. We've just come back from a home exchange and we are keen to try another one soon. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in this part of Italy.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located in a quiet street in the outskirts of the town of Malo at the foot of the hills, all around there are parks and lots of green where you can go walking and jogging and if you have small children they will have a great time with all the playgrounds there are nearby. Malo is located at the foot of the "Piccole Dolomite" and the Asiago plateau (battlegrounds during the first World War). Not far one can visit the town of Marostica, famous for its "live chess tournament" and Bassano. By car or public transport you can easily reach the cities of Verona, Padova and Venice. Malo is about one hour away from 2000 mt high mountain tops or a dip in the Adriatic sea. www.italyheaven.co.uk/veneto
