Our home

The apartment is 50m from beach, supermarket and restaurants in a quiet road. We have the whole attic and sole use of a large terrace that faces the beach and the mountains with the most incredible sunsets over the sea towards Stintino. The apartment is new (as of Oct 2007), very clean, well furnished and comfortable and has a car parking space. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with 2 beds + a pull out. The large lounge has satellite TV and two double sofabeds. The kitchen adjoins the lounge and has a large family table where we eat during the winter. The terrace has cane chairs and table at one end, dining table at the other and loungers in between. Broadband and telephone. This is our holiday home.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of 7! We have 5 lads ages 11 - 15 (long story). We got married 2007 and, having sold a house, decided to buy somewhere warm for holidays. We are clean and considerate and expect the same from anyone we exchange with.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Close (3 KM) to historic fortress city of Castelsardo. The island oozes history having been occupied by the Catalans and others at different times. Lots of charming bars and restaurants with fish being a speciality of the region. There are bus services to the big cities and airports but a car is preferrable. The locals are very friendly but not much English spoken unless you go to the tourist office or one of the hotels. (we liked the idea of being away from too many Brits) so lots of opportunity to go native. There are water parks and lots of great beeches nearby. Stintino is less than an hour away. You can also travel to Corsica via a short ferry ride.
