Our home

It is a small loft, plus a tower, in a medieval (tenth century) watermill. Two double bedrooms (actually: a tatami and a French bed) and a couch. Fireplace and stove. It is placed in the middle of Chianti, 20 km from Siena. Nearby there is a nice place to swim and lake to sunbath. Plenty of animals around and vineyards, where to buy good wine.

Who we are

  1. I am 37 years old researcher at the University of Siena.
Summer for me it's time for relaxing, studying and get some work done.
I tend to stay abroad for long periods, because of my work. Nevertheless, I tend to be home for the Palio (I belong to "Civetta"; a contrada of Siena). If you wish to stay for the Palio at my place, it might be possible to share my house for those few days, but you have to ask it me in advance and then see what are my plans.
I now the Palio it is very appealing for tourists.

By the way, I do apologize if I don't reply to your request, but I am receiving so many of them that I can't cope with.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

My neighbours are like a family for me. They work (or used to) at the nearby hospital in Siena and they are almost always at home, as they make shift or they are retired. They have kids, dogs and cats, though, I don't have any. They are very polite and easy doing, but the work hard, so, you must be respectful.
However, they don't sleep under my apartment, so, there isn't really any question about bothering each other.
