Who we are

  1. We are a couple in our 40s. Lorenzo is a professional journalist and an author of books I am an Export Sales Manager who is again back at the University studying "peace building & conflicts nonviolent resolutions". We are very clean and respectful and we expect the same from people we will host in our home. We really love biking and we adore our two cats. We read books and travel quite a lot. We are vegetarian, environment-friendly, sportiv. We have been biking from Passau to Vienna, from Berlin to Copenhagen, we visited all the Salento area (Southern Italy) by bike and we went to Cuba with our bikes travelling around the island. We also loved some north african countries (Egypt, Algeria) and we enjoyed Marseille where we had our first experience of home exchange, last summer. We love alive city centers, plenty of mixed people, or peaceful places where we can bike, read and write.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are living in a very alive neighbourhood. The name of this area is "Porta Romana". The old "Porta" (means "door") is the former access to the city in its walls, and both the walls and the old porta are still there!!! You could enjoy the green area close to our place (boboli gardens, viale dei colli, marignolle, etc), the ancient city monuments and museums, or the many shops around the corner where you could find bus stop, taxi stop, food shops, laundry, beauty center, gym center with Turkish bath, a quality dancing school with yoga classes, a bookshop, a quality restaurant, etc. From our home you can walk into the monumental area. Or you can start a very nice walk to the Piazzale Michelangelo through a very green area where you can also run for fitness if you like it.
We have bikes and could eventually leave you the access. Just contact us and we will find the appropriate accomodation solution for you!
