Our home

Our flat was renovated recently and has a charming and fresh atmosphere. It is full of light and has a beautiful wooden floor and modern furniture. It is in the heart of the city just a stroll away from all the important attractions like Ponte Vecchio or Palazzo Pitti with the beautiful Boboli garden. It is quiet and perfect for families with children. One bedroom with 2 single beds, one bedroom is divided in two areas and has 1 double bed(king size)and one single bed. There is a third smaller bedroom with 1 single bed. In the living room ,which is an open space with kitchen and dining room, is also a sofabed,so consider that the persons that will sleep on this sofa woun't have any privacy. The flat is on the 3.floor of a typical florentine house ( no elevator). We have no garden and no patio to sit outside. This apartment is not where we live, usually we rent it on a weekly or monthly base, therefore it is very clean and tidy.

Who we are

  1. We are Silvia ( age 47) and my 2 daughters age 14 and 16. We love to travel and have been several years in Australia, New Zealand and around the world. I work with children and adults with learning difficulties. We have made some home exchanges before and had wonderful experiences. Recently we have moved back to this apartment in Florence so some furniture in the apartment has changed. Sorry we heven't had time to change the fotos on the website but the difference isn't huge.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Just around the corner you will find all the necessary shops ( bakery, butcher, fruit and vegetables ect.)some very nice retaurants and bars. The busstop is just a few hundred meters away, so you can reach the train station in 5-10 minutes. Florence is a small town and most of the tourist attractions are in walking distance.A taxi from the Peretola airport will cost you about 20 €.
