Our home

I'd like exchange for the summer and fall a big house (200 mq)in a palace of 1400d.c.Situated in downtown of Terranova da Sibari-Calabria.The neighbourhood is closet to the car so is very noiseless and the mood is fresh. The town is on the spectacular hill from is possible to see the plane of Sibari, included between the mountain of Sila and Pollino. In the middle of view there is the jonio sea.
Is possible to make B&B.
Is the ideal vacation for pedant and lovers of nature, sea and slow food.
No night club, no disco and no commercial tourism.
This great region, including the mountains and sea, has a thousand of faces, colours, scents and flavours. The extraordinary variety of the landscape traditions, superb artistic and cultural patrimony, make Calabria’s the emblem and the synthesis of Italy in general. The city of Terranova is ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to the cities of Napoli, Capri’s island and Kroton and the tourist attraction Sibari, ancient roman center, Rossano, and arbresche town.In about 15 min on car is possible to go on beautiful beach of the coast–Schiavonea/Trebisacce or the fantastic Roseto Capospulico and many others.

Who we are

  1. I'm looking for a room for me and Alessandro together for this winter '07/ '08 in Singapore...

We are Caterina and Alessandro, a young couple.
We are both professionals (we are two lawyers) and enjoy travelling when we are able to get away.

we don't live alone in the house, but with my brother and sister.
My brother is a chartered accountant.
My sister works in a bank.

If you decide to choose my home is possible that you might divide the house with them.
The apartement is big (150 square meters), infact there are two bathrooms, a big kitchen with a confortable terrace and a living room with a round table where it is possible to have dinner.
Obviously each person has his personal bedroom.

It possible to exchange my home only in the winter '07, when we'll be in singapore.
while during this spring and summer (2007)I'm thinking to rent two double bedrooms of my house with a private bathroom.
It possible to guest max 4/5 person together, each time.
The rent it'll be very cheap, of course.

Currently in my house are living only me, my brother and sister.
    Alessandro is abroad.

I also introduced 3 pics about me and Alessandro my boyfriend.

In the pic on the boat he is the tall man with mustache and blue beachwear, while I'm next to him in yellow beach clothing. The other people in the photo are our friends, we were in vacation in Pantelleria island (close to Sicily island).

I haven't still photos about this home.
I'll take it as soon as possible.

Eternal gratitude is due to the Riace Bronzes, the two stupendous Greek statues dredged from the sea and exhibited, from the early 1980s, in the Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia in Reggio Calabria. Thanks to the irresistible attraction exercised by the two masterpieces (one of which is attributed to Fidia, the master Greek sculptor of the fifth century B. C.), hundreds of thousands of visitors arrived in Calabria. And in this way many of them finally discovered, as a joyous and marvellous surprise, a beautiful country, an unspoilt sea, a lush and sometimes wild countryside, with numerous architectural and artistic masterpieces of unexpected quality. Extraordinary, fascinating Calabria, a land of a thousand surprises. Of exquisite beauty, for example, is the Codex Purpureus, a rare sixth-century Greek gospel conserved in the Museo Diocesano in Rossano, with silver lettering and illustrated with splendid elegant figures and religious scenes. A breathtaking surprise, for those who see it for the first time, is the picturesque and spectacular coast of Tropea, on the Tyrrhenian sea (Calabria is also boarded by the Ionian). But it bears repeating that in Calabria, the surprises never end.
