Our home

It is a typical Capri house, fresh also in hot summer thanks to the thick walls of stone and to the shade of a centenary pine (there is also a small garden) that comes in the first hours of the afternoon.
In the bedroom there is a double bed. There is then a small living room with a bed-sofa (three beds in it), with stereo (cd/dvd player, tape recorder), VCR, satellite television. In the kitchen there are refrigerator, freezer, oven,
dishwasher. The bathrooms (with shower) are 2; in one we have arranged the washmachine. Our house has autonomous entry. There is a terrace (with openable curtain with motor), where is possible to have lunch or dinner out of door, whit a sight on a green hill in front.

Who we are

  1. We are Angela and Pasquale, a married couple with three boys 5, 10 and 12 years old. We enjoy travelling and visiting other countries: we made several home exchanges yet, and are entusiastic about this formula.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house it is in the town of Capri, in the Matermania district, a very quiet green area. Also in full season, when Capri is crowded with tourists, our neighbourhood is very peaceful and at night there is no disturbing noise. The center of Capri is all pedestrian area, so to reach our home you have to walk from the "piazzetta" (the famous little square you can reach from the port by funicular railway). It takes about 10/15 minutes, but going through nice little streets, surrounded by gardens and beautiful views.
In Capri there are a lot of beautiful places to visit, so it is possible to spend the whole holyday there, but it is well connected with Naples (hydroplane in 45 ms.) and with Sorrento (hydroplane in 20 ms.), so many excursions are realizable: visit of the city of Naples, climbed to the Vesuvius, visits of Pompeii and Ercolano, tour of the Amalfi coast: Positano, Amalfi, Vietri, Ravello.
