Our home

My home is comfortable, clean, and very lightening. It's a typical Italian style home, located in the most beautiful place of the town, in front the two towers (symbol of Bologna); the building is one of the most remarkable and ancient in town (1550). The house is warm and perfect for a very romantic holyday. In addition, Bologna is the best place from where leaving for discovering Italy: central and fully served by trains and planes. From the balcony you can see the roofs (3rd floor) of the town, with typical red tends; the kitchen and the living room floors are made of wood; the living floor ceiling is hand decorated. There's 1 bedroom (with double bed), 1 bathroom, a large living room, kitchen and a wardrobe room.

Who we are

  1. I'm a free lance journalist and PR. I travel a lot for my job. Now I wish to experience the exchange of my house as I have a one month job in Auckland from half of Jan to half of February. This is the perfect chance to pay a visit to the Country and experience the NZ lifestyle. This is the first time to me to exchange my house and I hope to do it again in the future.

Your neighbourhood

Bologna is one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. Not so big, it's famous for its food, for the art/culture and for the higt quality of its life. It's located in a very central position in Italy, ideal as a touring base: it's easy to get a train (or rent a car) for going to Venice (2 hrs), to Florence (1 hr), to Rome (less then 3 hrs), to Milan (less then 2 hrs), to Adriatic Cost (1 hr) and to Ravenna (1 hr) just to name the most famous ones. The house is in the best place of the town: the area is full of restaurants, bars, galleries, shops, boutiques, cinemas. There is a large area around limited to pedestrians. The biggest park of the town (Giardini Margherita) is 300mt close.
