Our home

Our apartment is near the city centre (10 minutes by bus) and very close to the typical Bologna's hills. It's located on the 4th and last floor (with elevator).
The living room is an open space room, separated from the kitchen by a low wall, with a long balcony.
The bathroom has shower, bidet, wc and washbasin; between the entrance and the bathroom there is also a tiny room where you can find the washing machine, the dryer and a piece of furniture with cleaning products.
The bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, a chest of drawers and an other piece of furniture (the wardrobe is a tiny room apart). The apartment is completely furnished, and if you want relax yourself many cd and dvd are available. In the bookcase there are also italian books (expecially for cooking!).

Who we are

  1. We are Sara, a social worker, and Gloria, cook and musician, and we are both in our 30.
We recently moved to Amsterdam and at the moment we can do only non-simultaneous exchanges.
We love our 2 cats, music, reading and, as you probably have understood, cooking and eating.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is quiet and silent. You can join by walking supermarket, chemist, newspaper kiosk, bank, pizzerias and restaurants, etc... By bus you can reach the city centre, where you can enjoy monuments, churches, the famous Bologna's Two Towers and The Neptune Fountain, or you can decide to have shopping in fashion boutiques or in the ancient area of the street market. If you like cycling or walking many parks are very close: Parco Lunetta-Gamberini, Parco dei Cedri, Giardini Margherita...
Bologna is the oldest universitary town in Europe (since 1088) and this is the reason why the nightlife is lively (restaurants, pubs, discos) and a lot of culture are mix together.
If you want have a look on the main monuments of our city, visit the website http://www.comune.bologna.it/girabologna/
You can't leave Bologna without tasting its famous and typical food: mortadella, salame, tortellini, lasagne, tagliatelle, meat,... (our lucky is having a delicious pasta shop in our street!).
From Bologna you can easily reach (by car or by train) many interesting cities, such as Florence, Siena, Padova, Parma, Milano, Mantova and many others; if you like the seaside Rimini, Riccione and Pesaro (Adriatic sea) are at 1 hour and half from Bologna.
