Our home

"Casa Giada" is a spacious 1200 square foot attic that accommodates up to 8 people.
It is located in Via Noli close to the center of Bergamo, and it's only a 10-minute walk to Città Alta (the upper town). It's a four-minute walk to Borgo Santa Caterina, a lively street with pubs, restaurants and pizzerias. Also in walking distance are the Museum of Modern Art, the Adriano Bernareggi museum, the Academia Carrara museum, the soccer stadium, and numerous parks. Right under the house there is a bus stop with buses that in five minutes will take you directly to the center or to the train station.

Casa Giada is on the fourth and last floor of an stately and quiet little building, served by an elevator. It has a large entrance, spacious living room with couch, armchair and two balconies, a kitchen area with all stainless steel appliances and everything you need for preparing and eating meals, a master bedroom with king-sized bed and balcony, a second bedroom with four single beds and a double sleeper sofa, and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There is also a washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, and fast wi-fi.

There are supermarkets, take-out pizzerias and other stores near the home. There are numerous free parking lots in the area.

The international Orio al Serio airport is only 7 kilometers away, a 13-minute drive.

Who we are

  1. We're a couple with a baby boy. He'll be six months old in June. We are coming to the San Francisco Bay Area June 8th - July 1st and we are looking for a place to stay. We would prefer a small house or apartment in the South Bay Area or the peninsula, or in Santa Cruz... but we are open to listening to any proposal. Also open to staying in the L.A. - San Diego area. The dates for your stay in Italy are entirely flexible! The home in Bergamo is very conveniently located, comfortable, and can sleep up to eight. If you prefer to stay in Dalmine, the whole second floor of the villetta is an independent apartment and it will be all yours during your stay.

  2. Gregori is Regional Executive Officer and Silvia is Chief Financial Officer for UnoGas Engergia, Bergamo.

  3. We love arts and culture.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This city in eastern Lombardy offers a wealth of art and medieval Renaissance and baroque architecture, a privileged position overlooking the southern plains, breathtaking views and plenty of fine dining. Bergamo is one of northern Italy's most beguiling cities.
The city's defining feature is its double identity. The ancient hilltop Città Alta (Upper Town) is a tangle of tiny medieval streets, embraced by 5km of Venetian walls. It lords it over the largely (but not entirely) modern Lower Town (Città Bassa). A funicular connects the two.
