Our home

We live in a spacious home in Ramat Gan (Tel Aviv metropolitan). It is perfect for a family with several kids (we have four)

Our flat consists of two stories -
The lower floor has a nice kitchen and dining area, a large living area, a family room with tons of games, an office and a laundry room. There is a bathroom on this floor. Outside there is a great garden, with a patio and a dining area. There is a big trampoline out there.
The upper floor includes the bedrooms. The master bedroom is huge and has a separate bathroom. There are two additional rooms, each with two beds (and one has a sofa that opens into a double bed if necessary). These rooms share a bathroom.

The apartment is actually the ground floor of a 4-story high building, but once inside it has the feeling of a private property.
There is a playground right behind the house, the kids can go there without crossing any roads.
We would also be interested in a car swap. We have a large car that can sit up to 7 passengers.

All in all, I think that our house would be perfect for a large family with young kids, who is interested in a car swap and in a central location.

I will be happy to send additional photos personally.

Who we are

  1. I am a physician and my husband is a mathematician. We are both in our late 30's (some are later than others...). We like traveling (obviously), good food and really good chocolate (especially dark...). We love riding our bicycles and we hope to go on a long bike trip with our family when the kids are a little older.

We have 4 children - 3 girls and a boy, ranging between 1 to 9 years old.

We have had two exchanges so far, in the Netherlands and in Germany and had a fantastic experience, It definitely seems like the right way to travel! When we travel we like to settle in one place and get the feeling of that area. We have visited many countries in the past and I think that one of the common things in all of our travels was our interest in getting to know the locals - people and costumes.

    Enjoy your travels!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in an urban area in Ramat Gan, a city which belongs to the Tel-Aviv metropolitan area.
There are a few playgrounds within 2-3 minutes on foot. As I mentioned earlier, there is one right behind our house.

Within 10 minutes (on foot) is the Marom Naveh center. There is a huge playground there and a small mall with several coffee shops and stores. Just keep in mind that similarly to many places in Israel, most of the restaurants in the area are closed on Friday night and Saturday (Shabbat).

The Israeli national park is less than 10 minutes drive, same goes for the Safari - the zoo.

Our home can serve as an excellent base for trips around Israel.
We live 15 minutes away from Tel Aviv (by car) and you can also easily get there by bus. Within 20-30 minutes by car you can find some nice beaches, several hikes and great picnic areas. Sometimes with little kids, that's as far as you want to go.
It's also a 50 minutes drive to Jerusalem, an hour to Haifa and a similar time to Beer-Sheva. You get the idea...
