Our home

Our house is a lovely spacious bungalow 5 minutes from Tramore beach and 2 hours from Dublin city. This is our vacation home and we use it to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We have recently redecorated the whole house. Our kids love the fantastic garden which is big and allows them to play their football matches, it has the added benefit of being completely private. We have 4 bedrooms (master ensuite) and we also have a cot and highchair for any extra small guests.

Tramore is a lovely, small, beach-side holiday town in Ireland's sunny south east, 2 hours from Dublin airport and 90 minutes from Cork airport. Rosslare harbor is an hours drive away . Tramore boasts 6 kms of beautiful blue flag sandy beach ideal for swimming, sun bathing, snorkling, walking, tennis, cliff walking, horse riding, wind surfing, kite surfing, sea fishing or cliff fishing. The house is situated 5 minutes from the Golf course and Race Course. Also in the area are three surf schools who will give discounts for family lessons or just rent wet suits and/or boards. There is an indoor splash world which is great fun for those that can't brave the open seas and an amusement park with many rides to suit young and old.

There are ample award winning restaurants, pub grub and take-aways for good food, with plenty of good music at night. Tramore is a great location to explore the Copper Coast and other fabulous scenic and historic areas in the Sunny South East.

The Waterford Greenway is the longest cycle track in Ireland from Dungarvan to Waterford which affords amazing views of the coastline, aqueducts, tunnels, bridges (http://www.visitwaterford.com/things-to-do/stories/WaterfordGreenway.php). This is a really safe cycle or walking trail for the whole family to enjoy.
