Our home

A large 9 year old, very comfortable, family home with 6 bedrooms. Upstairs there is the master bedroom with a large king size bed, a sofa where 2 people could sleep, and a large en-suite. Bedroom 2 has a double and single bed. There is also a camp bed available in this room. Bedroom 3 is our sons room and has a single bed. Bedroom 4 is one of our daughter's bedrooms and has 2 single beds. Bedroom 5 is located off the master bedroom and has 2 single beds in it. It is a small room but perfect for just sleeping in. There is also a seperate bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there is a large double bedroom with en-suite, our kitchen which is quite spacious and cosy and has an adjoining dining room. Our living room is quite large with amazing views out to sea. Just off the living room is the library which is very well stocked and will supply you with plenty of reading material. There is also a utility room, a seperate w.c. and a beautiful sunny porch with window cushions to make sunny days extremely enjoyable. The basement is dedicated entirely to a playroom. There is a huge range of toys suitable for both boys and girs. Our garden is on about 2 acres and is situated a bit off the main road so is ideal for kids. We have swings, slide, trampoline and many more outdoor toys to keep your children amused. We also have 5 hens that need very little looking after but will supply you with fresh eggs every day. The views to the north of the house are quite spectacular

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a quiet, rural part of the country but have access to some of the most breathtaking views of mountains and sea. Just across the road there is a beautiful safe beach which is ideal for small children and about 7km west there are more exposed beaches which are ideal for surfing and many water sports. We are spoilt for beaches around here. 4km from our home there is a forest with beautiful walks around lakes and through woods that the whole family can enjoy. We have 3 excellent restaurants within 2km of the house so cooking doesn't have to be a problem while on holidays. There is a local mini supermarket and a church in the village. On sunny days after school we would go to the beach across the road for a short while but during the holidays and at weekends we are often surfing and kayaking on the more exposed beaches. Tralee town is 20 mins drive and has every thing you would need from a town. The historical town of Dingle is 30 mins drive and offers a variety of activities from dolphin watching to indoor climbing walls.
