Our home

We bought our home, after many years searching for the perfect property for us. It is a four bedroom house, with kitchen diner and seperate living room with fully functional fireplace. Upstairs, there is a small toilet and electric shower, plus 2 large bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 3 single beds and a cot. This is where our children sleep and accomodates all their toys! There are 2 more bedrooms downstairs, one double and one single with separate toilet, bath and shower. The outdoor area is spacious with a large garden, and beautiful views of Galway Bay and The Burren. We are in the heart of connemara, right on the "wild atlantic way". No cats, as one of us has an allergy.

Who we are

  1. We are Carol and Eoin and have 4 children, Aislinn age 17, Finnian age 15 and Evan 9yrs, and Lorcan 7. Eoin's background is in science and Quality control but is also qualified as a coastal and country walking guide, and can advise you on the region in great detail, especially if you are interested in getting off the beaten track. I am a Psychiatric Nurse, currently working with children with special needs. Spending time together as a family is what we love to do, and so our home is ideally suited to children. We have lived in rented accommodation in the past, so have massive respect for the property of others, and expect the same in return. We have had six successful swaps to date. We are interested in a city break at any time of the year home or away. No animals please.
