Our home

My house is 1 year old and everything in it is working well. I have a very cosy sitting room with an open fire and large comfy couch and cable tv. There is an optional 4th bedroom downstairs but at the moment it is a playroom. The main bedroom has an ensuite with shower and there is a walk in wardrobe also. The main bathroom has a bath and shower. The dowstairs toilet also has a shower. The house is bright and airy. It is well insulated and has central heating. The floors upstairs and downstairs are all solid wood except for the kitchen which is tiled. It comes with all modern new applicance's. There is a large garden outside with a wooden shed and parking for 3 cars.

Who we are

  1. Hi, my name is Marina and I will be travelling with my son Rían. I would like to experience life and work in New Zealand for up to one year and it would be great to be able to swap homes with like minded people. I have not swapped homes before so it is a new adventure for us. I love my new home and would treat somebody elses home with the same tender loving care as my own. I am from the village so would be able to help in anyway to get people settled in and my family are nearby also to help anybody settle in to the area.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

I live in a small seaside town (winter population 900) called Enniscrone in the north west of Ireland. It is a seasonal village that attracts summer tourists (mainly Irish) during the peak season June-August. It is a small community but one where people are warm and friendly and interested in who you are and how you are doing. Enniscrone is famous for its blue flag 5 km beach and local seaweed baths. The pub life is good and there are many outdoor activites nearby and in the larger town of Ballina (12km).
