Our home

We are 2 architects, Ros and John. We have lived here for over 20 years during which time we have renovated the house to create a modern and comfortable family home. It is 3 storeys, built in the 19th century with beautiful front and back gardens. The accommodation comprises 2 living rooms, a large kitchen with dining and a patio, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We will use the 3rd small bedroom to store our stuff, out of your way, but the 2nd living room/study can be converted into a 3rd bedroom if needed.
Ros’s father has his own apartment, independent of the house, accessed from the front garden. He’ll look after our 2 cats!

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are looking forward to travelling to Australia to visit our son. We enjoy travel and have lived and worked in many places including Europe, America and Africa.
We are a couple with a 3rd adult (family) who may also travel with us.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is in the heart of Sandymount, one of Dublin’s most attractive suburbs close to the city centre with easy access to all the historical and cultural activities of the city. It is on a main bus route and train line into the city centre and places north and south on the bay.
Sandymount itself has all the amenities for an enjoyable holiday with its own ‘village’ atmosphere centred on ‘The Green’. There is a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants including French, Italian and Indian. There are also local food vegetable and fashion shops.
