Our home

Our home is a modern comfortable house containing 4 double bedrooms,one unsuite and a family bathroom with jacuzzi bath.There is a further single bed and pull out double bed available for a large group or visiting friends. The open plan well equipped kitchen combines with a conservatory dining area with great views of Lough Foyle and near by mountain. Cental heating throughout with a woodburning stove and an open fire in the sitting room if so desired.The large surrounding garden is private and peaceful and great for outside dining.Webber BBQ and picnic basket for you to explore our area.

  1. We are retired secondary school teachers and married over forty years who like to travel and play golf when we can We have had many great exchanges to Australia, New Zealand ,Canada ,China and the U. S and keep in touch with some of the many lovely exchangers we have met. Our automatic car can be available with the exchange. We love our home and would take good care of yours and look forward to hearing from anyone interested in exchanging with us.

House is located 0.5 miles from a small village of Muff just 4 miles from Derry city, We live in the Inishowen Peninsula in the most northern part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderful links golf courses. A ten minute drive takes you to Derry City with a variety of shopping, theatres, restaurants and night life. It was 2013 City of Culture and has hosted again The Round the World Clipper Race in 2014 and 2016 and will again in 2018.It is a five minute walk to the village with a small collection of shops ,coffee shop and a very friendly local pub with entertainment a few nights a week. The Giants Causeway and Glens of Antrim are within easy driving distance. Dublin is a four hour drive away.A small local airport - City of Derry- gives easy cheap flights to main airports in Britian and Belfast International and Belfast City airports are an hour and a half drive .All airports are easily reached with public transport out of Derry City.Good road networks lead to towns like Sligo,Galway and historic Donegal Town.Co Donegal with its historic sites,folk lore,deserted beaches and scenic mountains is a lovely place to be.
