Our home

We live in a modern detached bungalow with a large garden. We have a bright living room that opens to a kitchen dining area with utility room. There are 4 spacious bedrooms , 2 ensuite and a large family bathroom. The Master bedroom has a superking sized bed and there are double beds in two of the other bedrooms. There is a large double sofabed in the office/playroom. Our garden is large and we have a basketball hoop. There is a shed with bikes available also.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of four, Kevin, Hilary and our 2 boys Cillian, 17 and Euan, 14. Our cat Simba is 2yrs old and very affectionate. He would love company but can be on his holidays if necessary.

  2. Kevin is an Engineer, Hilary worked in financial services for many years and has retired to look after her elderly parents.

  3. We love the outdoors especially water sports, the boys row and swim and we have competed in several adventure races over the last few years.
    We have completed 4 very successful house exchanges to date and loved the experience.
    We are very respectful of your home and neighbourhood.

Barna is a lovely seaside village which offers a great blend of tranquility and activity. Local amenities include Barna Woods, Silver Strand Beach, Barna pier and beach, tennis and basketball courts and Barna Golf Club.

Barna is two and a half hours from Dublin City Centre.

For families with small children Galway has loads to offer such as the Aquarium which runs summer camps for children, cinemas, play centres, pet farms and sports centres and swimming pools.
