Our home is a traditional-style eighties-built four-bed cottage set on one-acre site at the edge of town. Ground floor has semi open plan living-cooking-eating-lounge areas, utility room, one double ensuite, one twin, and one triple room and full bathroom. Upstairs has large studio/office/lounge. There is master bedroom with washroom/toilet, separate shower and linen/clothes storing room. There is a large informal garden with mature trees, lawn areas, pond gravel paths and parking for 4/5 cars.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My wife and I are retired teachers (Junior Head, Senior Art) in our early sixties. Our family of two boys and three girls are ranging from ages 22 to 32 and all return regularly for rejuvenation and a little pampering. We are thankfully healthy enough to want to experience travel and other cultures with the possibility of some of our family joining us in our chosen destination.

We are 100 metres from the town park with 25 acres of woodland walks, childrens playground, golf course, Community Centre and gymnasium. To the rear of our home there is pedestrian access to scenic riverside walks alongside a well-known salmon/trout-fishing river. We are fifteen minutes drive fom one of Ireland's best known beaches WHICH IS ALSO THE HOME OF THE WORLD-FAMOUS BALLYBUNION LINKS GOLFCOURSE, thirty minutes drive to Kerry's beautiful mountain ranges and one hour from Killarney's lakes and dells.
