Our home

This is a comfortable and welcoming 5 bedroomed family home. Everyone is drawn to its bright kitchen/dining/family area, with its cosy oil-fired stove that has hosted many great parties. While the spacious sitting room is perfect for putting ones feet up for reading or TV viewing, others can secret themselves off to the big sofa in the garden room which has become the private den for the three teenagers who live in the house! All the ground floor rooms offer direct access to the pretty paved garden behind the house. A few steps up leads one to a raised grass lawn, with garden furniture for outdoor dining. Throw some of the food provided to the hens in the hen coop in the corner and you will be rewarded with eggs for breakfast!

Property features

Who we are

  1. We so enjoyed an extended family holiday two years that we all want to do it again - my husband and I, our adult son, our daughter, her husband and three children,(a teen, 3yr old and 6 month old), my sister and her three teens. My husband and I are doing the planning for the group. I am a retired school principal and my husband is an academic professor. We enjoy exploring new places, walking, cycling or driving, and always want to find the best eating possibilities locally!
