Our home

Our family home is a beautiful newly built two storey house with all modern conveniences on a nice site beside the scenic Lough Ree and the river Shannon - Britain and Ireland's longest river. Its a mecca for water sports - fishing, sailing, cruising, swimming etc and offers a very enjoyable family holiday location. The house is adjoined to tennis courts and a marina at the river where you can sail or cruise from every day of your holiday if you wish. Its a hundred metres from your spacious garden to the water. It really couldn't be simpler. We might even throw in a motor cruiser for a spin on the lake.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ballyleague, Lanesborough is a small town in Ireland - population circa 1200 people - approximately 80 minutes from Dublin airport and 55 minutes from Knock Airport - Ryanair airports. The town is close to two main urban areas Longford town and Roscommon town - both of which are served with daily train and bus routes to the cities. It's a really beautiful part of Ireland with flat countryside and lots of rivers and lakes nearby. Our home is one of just 5 near the water in a private area - with little or no crime rate locally and lots of good neighbours. If it's peace and harmony you want - You will love it.
