Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is in a hazel wood at the foot of the Burren hills (a botanist's paradise) We are just 6 kilometers from the nearest beach and 4 kilometers from the picturesque village of Kinvara, which has lots of music sessions. Galway city,'the jewel of the West' is 50 minutes away by car.For two weeks in July we have the Galway arts festival which is a world class event. The area is wonderful for hillwalking and other outdoor pursuits. The Cliffs of Moher are 40 mins away and Shannon airport is 1 hour away. There are many musicians and artists living in the area which makes it a culturally rich community.
We also have a holiday cottage in Co. Clare on the surf coast and home of Irish music. We are happy to include this as a possibility for non simultaneous exchange.
