Our home

Our home, close to the sea, is a short drive from the seaside village of Kinvara, Co. Galway, Ireland. Nestled in the foothills of the unique Burren landscape the house sits on a 0.5 acre of gardens in a peaceful and tranquil location but within a 30 minute drive to Galway city.

The house is a bright and warm four bedroom Dormer Bungalow with the two downstairs bedrooms converted to home offices. The spacious hallway leads into the kitchen/dining-room with patio doors out to the garden. A separate sitting room has a wood-burning stove and smart TV for those cosy winter nights. Controllable central heating and top quality insulation ensures warmth throughout the house. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine, dryer, freezer, fridge freezer etc. Hi speed broadband/WiFi has just been rolled out to our area and works like a dream.

The sea is just 100 yards from the house and the entire area is a walkers and nature lovers paradise. Kinvara is a hive of creativity with many musicians, artists and writers. Entertainment in the local pubs with top class Traditional Irish Music, Blues and Jazz is all year round. There are many fine restaurants both in Kinvara and nearby.

A car is essential to get the very best out of your stay and we have a very reliable, safe and comfy old BMW 5 series for your use.
