Our home

Comfortable townhouse in a small, friendly housing estate on the edge of a village in the Glens of Leitrim. Kinlough is a bedroom community 36 km north of Sligo. Quiet mornings and evenings are often punctuated by the clip-clop of ponies and traps / sulkies on the streets.

Our townhouse includes one master bedroom with super-king-size bed 1.90m wide, and one studio / bedroom with traditional Irish bed 1.37m wide. We provide a full kitchen and a clothes washer and dryer.

Who we are

  1. WE HAVE CHANGED OUR PLANS. WE NOW WANT TO PLAN AN EXCHANGE FOR THE SUMMER OF 2019. Monica and I are un-fussy writers and artists. We will travel with our greyhound, and we'd like to exchange with others whose homes can be reached by driving and taking car-ferries from Ireland: Northern France, Scotland, Wales, or the south coast of England. We're seeking exchange partners whose houses are dog-friendly.

  2. Monica Corish is an Irish writer, artist, and writing-workshop leader. She is trained and certified as a workshop facilitator by the Amherst Writers' and Artists' (AWA) organisation. Her website is www.monicacorish.ie

  3. Tom Sigafoos is an Irish-American writer, editor, and writing coach. He serves as Chair of the Allingham Arts Festival in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal. His website is www.tomsigafoos.com
