Who we are

  1. I am Annette and my daughters are Evie, age eight and and Cara, age seven. We exchanged our previous home many times and have thoroughly enjoyed the experiences. The opportunity to live as locals has added an amazing authentic quality to our travels. I work as an acupuncturist/herbalist and Home Educate my children. The world is our classroom! We usually travel with my sister and/or Mother.

We live on beautiful Achill Island. The largest Island of the coast of Ireland. We live at ‘The Sound’ a few minutes walk from the bridge to the mainland. We’re walking distance to the supermarket, pharmacy, library, butcher, bars, cafes and restaurants. A drive into the island will bring you to five Blue Flag beaches, amazing coastal drives, stunning cliffs and mountains and more craic than you can shake a shillelagh at!
