Our home

Our house is a large, newly-built house in a rural location. It has five large airy bedrooms all with double beds. Our very large kitchen looks out on our garden. WE have a very large dining table in the kitchen- for us the heart of the home. Off the kitchen is our sunroom which has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Our sitting room has a wood-burning stove, comfortable couches and a large tv- a great place for chilling out.
Our large gardens - front and back- are very well kept as we are both keen gardeners. The patio is large and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. Each of the four houses in our cul de sac is built on an acre site so there is great privacy. We have a second sunken patio at the end of the garden.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are retired teachers aged 60. We have 3 adult children. We have just returned from a wonderful swap in Ontario, Canada. When our children were young we did several swaps in Europe. We will be travelling as 2 but may need an extra bed as we hope some of our children might come to stay for a week-end.
We enjoy gardening, reading, politics and travel.
We like to attend the local leisure club.
Richard enjoys the gym and I am an avid swimmer.
We enjoy theatre, films and Richard is a mad Blues man.
We love music and love Springsteen.
