Our home

Our home is a recently renovated 3 storey Victorian farmhouse. We have retained its original farmhouse features yet our home meets the needs of a modern family.
We have a small enclosed garden ideal for toddlers. The house is surrounded by a large lawn, old farmsheds and a mature large grove. The house is set on a 185 acre cattle and sheep farm. Features include; green fields, hilltop views and forest areas. Guests would have use of all this. You may also like to ride our pony.

Our home is spacious and your children are welcome to play in the playroom with TV and Video/DVD, the large living room which opens to a small confined garden and the kitchen/dining room.

Your neighbourhood

We live in East Clare which is in a quiet hilly part of the county full of interesting drives and walks and lakes for you to explore.
Our home is situated 1 mile from a small village "Feakle" which has 3 pubs, church, school and hall. Feakle is 20 minute drive from a lovely busy town called Ennis where you can enjoy shopping, traditional music, pubs, resaurants. We are a 30 minute drive from Shannon Airport.
Feakle is also 30 minute from "Lough Derg" on the Shannon River, here you can enjoy boats/criusers/windsurfing or take a day trip to Holy Island on the lake. We are 1hr from Galway a small university city, well worth a visit. We are 1hr from the Atlantic Coast, Burren, Cliffs of Moher, long beaches. Bunratty Castle and folk park is nearby. Dublin, the capital, is 120 miles from Feakle.
