Our home

Our home is a three-bedroom, Victorian terraced house, located a 20 minute walk from the heart of Dublin city. Built in 1882, the house was entirely renovated in 2003/4 and is now a modern home with a touch of Victorian elegance. There is one double-bedroom and two single rooms. There are two reception rooms downstairs - the doors between them can be opened to create one very large room. The kitchen/dining room area is south-facing and light-filled with ceiling to floor sliding glass doors, looking out onto a private garden (with a trampoline!) There is a shower/bathroom with WC upstairs and another WC downstairs.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is located less than 2k from the very centre of Dublin City (The Spire monument on O'Connell's Street). Phibsborough is a suburban locale with extensive food shopping literally two minutes from our house. It is within 1km of the National Botanic Gardens and the historic Glasnevin Cemetary. Less than 3k to the west of the house is the Phoenix Park, one of the largest walled city parks in Europe. If you prefer public transport there are a number of bus routes into the city centre from the end of our Street.

Dollymount Beach is about a 20 minute drive (8km) from the house.
