Our home

Our house is a 200 old year georgian house that we have restored. It is 2 storeys over a basement and is bright and spacious with a fabulous 75 foot south facing garden featuring a deck with table & chairs. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and the other with 2 single beds. On the ground floor there is a large living room and a large dining room with a kitchen off it. The basement is a nice place to relax with the TV and stereo, where there is also an office with an apple computer, printer and broadband internet access.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Orlaith & Colm, a married couple with twin daughters Ciara & Sadhbh who are 14 years old. Colm owns a graphic design & web development business and Orlaith is a psychologist. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Ireland. We would of course treat your house with the utmost care and respect.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on a beautiful 200 year old georgian square, situated in a fashionable district called Ranelagh on the south side of Dublin, only 15 minutes walk from Dublin's city centre. There is a fine Tennis Club in the middle of the square. There are 14 restaurants in our neighbourhood. We are only a 5-10 minute drive from the sea and 20 minutes from the scenic Dublin mountains. Local public transport is excellent with both a bus service and a tram line 300 meters from the house.
