Our home is located in South Dublin suburbs, about 13 km from the city centre. There are local bus connections to the city and the nearest tram (Luas) station is about a 15 minute walk. Equally our home is located very close to the Dublin Mountains with may local forest walks in the mountains.
The local village (Stepaside) is about a 5 minute walk. You will find here 2 pubs, a grocery store, a butcher, a fishmonger, a pharmacist and a vegetable shop. There are also 3 restaraunts in the village. Nearby there are many other amenities; for example Leopardstown horse racing course, Dundrum shopping mall, ziplining, mountain biking courses, etc.

Our house is also close to the major ring road (M50) around Dublin.
