Our home

Charming and cosy this compact cottage is situated in the "Liberties", the historic area of the city centre. It is ideally located for exploring the vibrant and interesting city of Dublin being approximately 10 minutes walk from all the main attractions. Originally it had one floor but recent architecturally designed renovations created a mezzanine with a comfortable double sofa/bed and four velux windows. A movable Ships Ladder leads from the kitchen area to the mezzanine. On the ground floor is the small living/dining area leading into the kitchen. The dining area also leads out to an attractive patio with an electrically operated awning suitable for dining. In the Spring/Summer/early Autumn period it has full sunshine during the day. In addition to central heating it has an open fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, dish-washer etc. The ground floor also has one very small bedroom with a 4ft/122cm bed suitable for one person or a couple. My home is approximately 50 sq.m

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Situated in the historic Christchurch/Liberties area of Dublin City Centre just minutes away from its two medieval cathedrals - Christchurch and St.Patrick's. Although very small its location is excellent in a quiet, peaceful four cottage square with a view of St.Patrick's. It is ten minutes walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street -Dublin's fashionable pedestrianized zone,Temple Bar the modern bohemian cultural area with its Saturday food and craft market. Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Brewery, Dublin Castle, Art Galleries, Museums, Theatres, Cinemas, Restaurants,Pubs and shops all are between three and twenty minutes walk away. Easy access to all public transport-urban and provincial bus services, the Luas(tram system), Dart(Dublin Bay coastal train service). Twenty five minutes walk to both Heuston and Connolly train stations serving all towns and cities on the island of Ireland. I have been living here for 21 years and love the area for its convenience, character, good neighbours and peaceful surroundings.
