Our home

Our home is very comfortable and easy to manage. Downstairs we have a small entrance hall with the study/bedroom 5, loo and living room leading from it. The living room is bright and elegant with contemporary mood lighting which is a key feature for evening relaxation. It's furnished with two three seaters, a two seater and single seater. We have a fireplace with a natural gas fire, a large wall mounted TV and double doors into the dining room and a door into the kitchen. The dining room is simple and bright again. It's end wall is fully glazed with double doors into the garden. The kitchen and family room are also very bright. The kitchen has all the usual appliances and it has a double oven. It works really well for cooking. The family room has a second TV. The utility is equipped with washing machine and chest freezer. The family room also has double doors to the back garden. The back garden has a small summerhouse, nice planting and great privacy with shrub lined walls that cater brilliantly for nesting birds. Upstairs there are two good size double bedrooms. The third room although small has a double bed in it and the final bedroom is a single room. The family bathroom is small, fully tiled and equipped with a jacuzzi bath. The lighting is also a feature here. The central heating system is natural gas.

Who we are

  1. Martin and I are in our 50s. We are virtually retired now and ready to do some travelling. We both play golf and generally try to incorporate it somewhat into our travels. We have two adult children who are independent. We became grandparents two years ago and are now besotted with our two grandchildren. We enjoy cooking in and eating out.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a fantastic locality in Dundrum. We're 5 mins walk from the village and the fantastic town centre. There's a lot to do locally with shops, cinemas and many restaurants on our doorstep. There are very good public transport services available to take you into Dublin city which is only 6km away. We have the light rail system called the Luas which will take you into town in 15mins and runs every 10 minutes and a bus service stops at the end of the road. We are 3min drive from the M50 motorway which allows you to get on all the major road arteries around the country making everything accessible. Marley park, a public park with great walks, is 5mins drive away. Wicklow, the garden of Ireland, is literally down the road. The airport is 25 mins drive.
