Our home

Our house is warm cosy and a little bit arty and and we love living there because it has very relaxing energy to it.. We have a nice big garden with a big trampoline and sand pit. We have bikes for kids and adults with helmets.
We have two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a five foot Double Bed and the second room has bunk beds. We also have a travel cot for a baby as well as high chair and lots of baby toys. Our kids are 5, 3 and 10 months.

In our living room we have an electric piano and a couple of acoustic guitars. We love music and think that life without music would not be much of a life!!

The kitchen living room is open plan and opens out into the garden.
We are 10 mins to the centre of Dublin by bus or by bike or 30 minutes on foot.
We are 10 minutes from The Phoenix park which is the largest city park in Europe. They have great playgrounds, zoo, biking routes as well as a visitor's centre and the historic Farmleigh House. We are 40 minutes drives from the Wicklow Mountains which has amazing routes for biking and for hiking.

We are five minutes from a rail line which brings you all the along the coast (North and South in Dublin) - its very easy to visit the beautiful towns of Howth, Greystones, Dalkey. Malahide etc.

We have a Volkswagen Passat Diesel which we are very happy to share with you if you feel like driving in Ireland.

This house is perfect for spending time in and is in a great location for visiting Dublin as well as the county of Wicklow which is also known as the Garden of Ireland. Its beautiful.

There is a beautiful meditation centre about 10 by bike from our house.
Would be delighted to tell you all about the amazing places to see in this great city of Dublin.

Who we are

  1. We are a very laid back family. We all love music. Brian is an addiction nurse who is also currently to be a hypnotherapist. Catherine is a musician and also works part-time as a tour guide. Our family loves adventure and all things musical and artistic. We are huge fans of the great outdoors.

We all cycle every where in Dublin. Our 5 year old Rachel cycles 2 miles to school and back every day.

We love the mountains and the sea. We love Dublin because in only 30 minutes from our house we can get lost in the beautiful wild mountains and in 20 minutes we can swim in blue flag beaches whilst also having access to a thriving artistic hip friendly city.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ideally located as a touring base for Dublin and Wicklow, we are located in Dublin 7 which is one of the most artistic areas in Dublin. Lots of writers, artists and film makers are located in this area. We are 10 mins from Stoneybatter which is home to most of the artistic community in Dublin.

We are on a great bus route and also very close to a good rail service.

We are close to the Botanic Gardens, Phoenix Park, Dublin Airport, city centre.

We have really nice neighbours - this is real Dublin.
