Our home

Our home is the perfect spot for a family who like to sit in a sunny south west facing garden in a tranquil part of Dublin. The house has spacious rooms and is designed with a family in mind. It is clean, tidy and functional with all the mod cons in working order, necessary for family life including dish washer, washing machine, sky television, dvd player, microwave, internet and the use of our four year old 5 + 2 seater Toyota Corolla verso recently road tested (NCT). In the garden there are swings and trampoline and access to a green public area for football etc.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are an active family with two boys of 8 and 10 and a girl of 12. We cycle and walk a lot and spend time in our cosy living room playing Lego and watching sky TV as-well. We are never short of entertainment for the kids in the local area. With the DunLaoghaire Peoples Park Market on every Sunday, the Seafront and Killiney Hill, we never find we have to go too far, but if we fancy a trip to the rest of the country the M50 (gateway to the south and west), is a 10 min drive from our house. We are a relaxed family who are very lucky to have settled in such a beautiful part of Ireland.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

By car you can reach Dublin city centre in 35 mins. By Dart you are in the centre in 10 min walk + 30 min dart ride from our house. Walking, you are at the sea front in 25 mins in several directions. We live on Killiney Hill. The entrance to Killiney Hill Park is an 8 min walk and then you are into 150 acres of wooded Park (including kids playground) which slopes down onto Killiney Beach, (Bono territory). There are beautiful walks in the area with views over Killiney bay, if your lucky, from the park, you will see the dolphins jumping in the sun, Bray and the Sugarloaf in the distance to the South and Howth to the North. If you walk 25 mins to the North you will arrive at Sandycove Beach and DunLaoghaire Seafront, home to Joyce. Glasthule home to Bloomsday celebrations is beside the beach and Dalkey home to many or Ireland's celebraties is on your doorstep too. Dunlaoghaire Pier is within a 30 min walk where most of Dublin comes for a blast of fresh air on a Sunday afternoon.
