Our home

We have lived in our architecurally designed house for the past 9yrs, we have a spectacular view of the sea taking in Bray head and the coast of Wicklow. Our house is located in a quiet cul de sac only a few metres away from the walkway onto Killiney Hill, we spend a lot of time there with our children playing in the forest and in the playground. We have an open plan kitchen, dining room, living room, with balcony access to the front, and terrace access to the side. Our utility room contains an extra fridge, washing machine, dryer etc. There is geothermal underfloor heating throughout. Bose surround sound system in open plan area and main bedroom/en-suite. We have three bedrooms upstairs, with the main bedroom en-suite, this bedroom also has doors which access the side terrace. Our back garden caters for children with swings slide and tree house. Downstairs is another large bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Our property is gated and plenty of room for parking to the front.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Dalkey is a very nice quiet village containing shops, pubs, restaurants, church, and local dart(train). Local markets take place on some Fridays and most Saturdays which offer locally/Irish produced goods. Killiney Golf Club is located 5mins away by car, Killiney Castle Hotel has a gym and swimming pool which is 2mins away. Although our house is located up on the hill of Dalkey, the beach can be accessed easily (not with prams I'm afriad) by walking down steps on what is known locally as the cats ladder onto the Vico road, and from there down again onto the beach. Otherwise you can walk or drive by road to Vico road and get onto the beach from there. The dart(train)can bring you in a few mins to Dun Laoghaire where there is a large marina for water sports, boat hire etc. The dart can also bring you into Dublin city or in the other direction to Wicklow which has many walks, golf courses, many tourist attractions.
