Our home

This is a spacious 2.500 square ft dormer bungalow with a separate studio, in the country, 28 miles south of Dublin (30 mins drive). There are 4 bedrooms, 3 of them en-suite and a total of 4 Shower(+1 Bath)rooms in the house+1 WC, 1 dining room, 2 living rooms and a nice porch with a BBQ to dine outside for those warm Summer evenings where rain shelter may be required, overlooking the forest. The separate studio also sleeps 3 and has a shower room. In total you can accomodate 12 comfortably and more.
There are 2 cars (1 electric+1 diesel), but due to insurance restrictions cannot be used by anyone other than the owner, but we could check with insurance if this can be changed for a short period of time.

  1. We are of mixed Spanish/Irish couple over 50 with 3 grown up children.

  2. Freda is a Spanish language 2ndary school teacher and Toni is in IT sales

  3. We love sports, outdoor activities, fresh air, reading. We love enjoying life and always look for things to do.

Ashford in County Wicklow is an up market are within an upmarket county of Ireland. Wicklow is the coastal county immediately south to Dublin, Ireland's capital. It is called the garden of Ireland for its beauty, with fantastic scenery, beautiful mountains and see views. Famous people live of have lived in the area (e.g. Daniel Day-Lewis, Hozier, Eddie Jordan, Seamus Heaney, James Stewart Parnell,...)
