Our home

A traditional Irish cottage with stunning mountain and sea views. A welcoming, comfortable house with a quaint country kitchen at the heart of the home. In the kitchen, there is a large solid fuel cooker. We really enjoy cooking and our kitchen is very well equipped. The cottage has three bedrooms, one en suite and two other bedrooms. The main bathroom has a large Victorian bath tub. The cosy living room has a stove and television with DVD player and a good selection of DVDs for both adults and children. Broadband is wireless and high-speed.
The cottage sits on 700 square meters. It has its own orchard and vegetable garden which you are more than welcome to! We grow rhubarb, raspberries, lettuce (salad), potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic and various other vegetables. It has chickens with fresh free-range eggs every day, another thing you are welcome to. If you are going away, they will not be a problem as we will arrange for a neighbor to look after them.
As we have recently welcomed our young grandson, everything needed for a young family is available if necessary. (including car seats, cots and high chairs)
The cottage has its own gravel driveway, lined with natural beech hedge secured with automated gates. It is also extensively lit up at night if desired to enhance its character. The site is completely surrounded by trees and extremely private.
