Our home

This is our second home. It is cosy but comfortable and clean. It is situated down a leafy lane in a small wood beside the sea. It has been recently renovated in a modern style. Bedroom one has a kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has 4 bunk beds and bedroom 3 has 2 bunkbeds. The garden is large and rambling with lots of room to explore. There is direct access to the sea from the garden and it is possible to go canoeing here. There is also a large trampoline in the garden and table tennis in the garage. There are two beautiful terraces with stunning seaviews perfect for eating outdoors. This is a good house for a family who like to be surrounded by nature and are adventurous.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of 5. We have 2 daughters (11 and 9) and a little boy (6). We enjoy travelling and would like to show our children some more of the world. We will treat your house with respect and leave it in good condition, and we hope you will do the same with ours.

Your neighbourhood

We live in a small Irish village, just off the beautiful Ring of Kerry -probably the most famous scenic route in Ireland. There is a church, a post office, a shop and of course a pub. We are approximately ten mins drive from the very pretty villages of Sneem and Caherdaniel, which both have plenty of pubs and restaurants. A little further away (half an hour) are the larger towns of Kenmare, Waterville and Cahirsiveen, with top quality restaurants, especially if you like seafood. We are also about half an hour from Valentia Island and the Skellig Rocks (Ireland's only UNESCO site). The main attraction is the beauty of the countryside with rugged mountains and many unspoilt beaches. Swimming, horseriding, mountainwalking, golf and seasports are all within easy access.
