Our home

Our home is a 1940s recently renovated and extended family home on a quiet road very near Dublin City Centre and the Phoenix Park. Architect designed, it is full of light, very spacious and comfortable with a back garden. It is cosy but it is also cool in warm weather. Our home is also wheelchair accessible and has an internal through floor lift.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple with three teenage children.

  2. Stephen is a psychologist and Susan is a freelance writer and radio producer.

  3. We are all about family. We love getting outdoors and spend a lot of time, running, walking or just chilling out in the Phoenix Park. We also love books, music and culture and we try to make the most of the many historical and cultural attractions that Dublin has to offer.

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located just 1.5 miles from the heart of Dublin city centre and all the wonderful attractions it has to offer. It is easy to walk or take a short bus ride directly from our home into the city centre. Despite being so close to town, we live in a nice quiet friendly neighbourhood. The Phoenix Park, which has fantastic attractions including the zoo, a herd of wild deer and a visitor centre as well as bike hire also is minutes by foot from our home. Also close by, are the National History Museum, and the bustling neighbourhood of Manor Street and Smithfield with all the lovely little cafes, restaurants pubs and arthouse cinema.
