Our home

Our home is a modern, comfortable family home in Cabinteely, south county Dublin. It is a three-bedroomed semi-detached house located in a quiet area close to all amenities. We have a beautiful, very bright and large fully-equipped kitchen/living room which is ideal for spending time with family or entertaining friends. In the kitchen, French doors open onto a decking area leading to a nice, mature garden. We have three bedrooms and we also have our attic converted into an additional double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Four bicycles are available for use

Who we are

  1. We are a family of five. Myself (Denise) and my husband Kevin have three children aged 14, 12 and 8. We love to travel and we are all interested in good food, culture, sport (particularly tennis and Gaelic football)and anything creative. This will be our first time to do a home exchange and we are really looking forward to making your stay in our home as enjoyable as possible.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is situated in a quiet, mature neighbourhood with easy access to the main bus routes and main rail lines (DART and LUAS)leading to Dublin City Centre where museums, galleries, restaurants and many other tourist attractions are to be found. We are very near to the heritage town of Dalkey with it's beautiful scenic walks. The town of Dunlaoghaire, with its many shops and restaurants, is within a five minute drive. There are also excellent restaurants in Dalkey and in the villages of Glasthule and Sandycove. There are three nice beaches within three kilometres. If you would like to explore beyond Dublin, we are very close to county Wicklow, which is known as 'the Garden of Ireland', offering spectacular scenery, mountain walks and much more.
