Our home

Comfortable, welcoming and spacious cottage. Our home has beautiful views from the garden which overlook the Clare hills. It is a lovely space to relax on a summers evening. The house has four bedrooms 3 double rooms and one single room and two living areas with a large kitchen. It is very child friendly with swings and slide outside. We have all mod cons including wifi and cable television.

Who we are

  1. We are Cara and Tony a married couple with four small children. Tony is a pilot, and I am a stay at home mother. We both enjoy travelling a lot and are hoping to explore many new places. We have not done a home exchange before but feel that it is a great way to experience new cultures and countries whilst exchanging our home with others who wish to do the same. We are looking forward to the experience.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our cottage is 10mins walk to the picturesque village of Bunratty which is also a heritage site and boasts the famous Bunratty Castle and Folk Park which is well worth a visit. A trip to the medieval banquet is highly recommended. There are many lovely restaurants in Bunratty to try and a visit to the famous Durty Nellies pub is a must!

The city of Limerick is 15 mins drive or by bus 20 mins to the centre where you will find good shopping and local sights to visit. 20 mins away also is the quaint town of Ennis with authentic cafes and lovely shops.

If you are a sports enthusiast there is plenty of horse riding and golfing to be found. There are also attractions to visit in Co Clare such as the Cliffs of Moher Ailawee Caves and the town of Lehinch which are all less than one hours drive away. Clare is a beautiful county and within 50 mins drive from Bunratty you will find sandy beaches which are ideal for surfing.
