Our home

Our house is a 4 bedroom modern bungalow overlooking Donegal Bay approximately 100m from the Atlantic Ocean. The bungalow sits on a 0.75 acre site located in an idyllic coastal/rural setting, close to the seaside resort of Bundoran in County Donegal. The main bedrooms and living rooms have panoramic sea views to the north and mountain views to the south. The property has a large garden to the front and a private garden/patio to the rear. The house has oil fired central heating, a modern spacious kitchen and a small gymnasium.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This location would suit someone with an interest in the outdoors. Several excellent surf spots can be found within walking distance of the house. The coastline consists of rugged sea cliffs and long sandy beaches excellent for walking and horseriding which can be arranged locally. The country road in front of our house actually forms part of the newly established North West Cycle Trail. The fishing village of Mullaghmore is located 5 mins drive to the south and offers sailing, diving and sea fishing activities. Additionally there are two excellent salmon fishing rivers within walking distance of the house. Several links golf courses can be accessed within a 5-25minute drive. 5 minutes drive to the north will take you to the seaside resort of Bundoran which has several good quality restaurants, pubs and nightclubs. Sligo City is located 25 minutes drive to the south and has too many attractions to list - some of which include W.B.Yeats Grave/Poetry Centre, Benbulbin Mountain (Ireland's equivalent of Table Mountain!!), Lissadell House and Gardens, Voya Seaweed Baths and numerous shops and award winning restaurants.
