Our home

Relaxed, comfortable and bright home from home. Simply but beautifully furnished holiday home. Spacious deck onto garden with barbecue to encourage outdoor living. Deck gets sun all day. Private from other houses. Lovely garden and trees and lots of open spaces. 3 tennis courts. 5 minute walk to beach. Caretaker living in development will deal with any minor problems.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Andy & I have been married for 25 years and have 3 wonderful daughters, Siobhan (22), Roisin (15) and Shona (9). Andy is a pilot and I have recently retired. We love to travel (naturally!) and enjoy music (U2, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Jackson and Razor Light etc.) We like going to movies and art galleries. Our favourite pastime is to have friends to our house for dinner, wine and chat. We are great walkers and Andy enjoys a game of golf. Interior design is my particular interest.

We love going to Brittas Bay to chill and unwind.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is located in Brittas Bay Park which is a development of holiday homes. Brittas Bay is famous for its golden sandy beaches and beautiful sand-dunes. The beach and water are very clean and deserted except on sunny days. You can explore Glendalough, climb the Sugar Loaf Mountain and enjoy long walks in the country and on the beach. Just 45 minutes easy driving to Dublin city centre with museums, cathedrals, art galleries and shopping. 20 minutes from Wicklow town for lots of little shops and restaurants, 20 minutes from Arklow which has a large shopping centre. 30 minutes to Enniskerry and Powerscourt House. Championship golf courses close by - The European, Druids Glen, Powerscourt, Woodbrook Golf Club, Blainroe and Woodenbridge to name but a few.
