Our home

My home is a detached two storey townhouse situated in quiet cul de sac. It has been well maintained since I bought it in 1983. It comprises of entrance hall, living room with open access to dining room, and kitchen downstairs. There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The garden is secluded and not overlooked. This is a warm & welcoming home.

In addition, I have a three bedroom bungalow in Co Kerry, which has been renovated in the past 5 years. It has a modern kitchen/dining room, separate living room, bathroom and ensuite bedroom.

Your neighbourhood

My neighbourhood in south county Dublin is 7 km from the city and 3 km from the coast. The area is very much sought after and is surrounded by parks with plenty of trees and also a public tennis court, all within walking distance. Dun Laoghaire is 10 mins drive away which is one of the main sailing ports in Ireland, there are lovely areas to walk, great restaurants & bars and is a popular tourist attraction.
There are several shopping centres locally and also there is a very reliable bus & train service to the city centre. Dublin is a city of culture famous for its writers, visitors can see Book of Kells in Trinity College, visit the many museums, take a literary walk, or attend the theatre.
Golfing is a popular sport and there are several golf courses within a 10 mile radius.
Also nearby is Co Wicklow, famous for its gardens and mountain walks.
My house in Kerry is situated near the coast which has miles of sandy beaches, great for surfing. It is within driving distance of Killarney (40Km) famous for its lakes & mountains, Dingle is 60km away, noted for rugged scenery and fish restaurants. The house is in a rural setting surrounded by farmlands.
