Who we are

  1. Paul and I are both in our early 40s with 3 young boys aged 7,4 and 2. Paul works with an insurance company whilst I work for the health service. This is our first time to seek to exchange our home. We returned to live in Ireland 3 years ago and love the area in which we live. We would hope that by house exchange we may offer a warm experience in exchange for one.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Situated in a picturesque quiet village in nothwest County Cavan, on the border of Northern Ireland . There is a childrens playground and 2 playing pitches within the village which also hosts 2 bars 2 shops and a restaurant. There are plenty of lakes locally and some lovely mountain walks. It is an ideal base to tour the north and northwest of ireland. Belfast and Dublin are just 2 hours drive away. Locally there is marble arch caves and the area has been recently designated as a UNESCO geopark. Within short distance of the caves is the beautiful florence court house and gardens. Although you can swim in some of the local lakes, an hours drive will bring you to beautiful beaches in counties Sligo or Donegal where some of the worlds best surfing areas can also be found. An hours drive will also bring you to the Ulster folk park in Omagh. This is a beautiful part of Ireland to explore or to use as your base.
